Nancy Way
Volunteer Coordinator
About Me
Nancy Way began her journey with A HOPE in January 2021 and became the Volunteer Coordinator in 2023. Her dedication to the organization includes roles as a foster mom, working on mass trapping cases, assisting with transports, events, fundraising, and intake processes.
Before joining A HOPE, Nancy volunteered with Panhandle Equine Rescue, Inc., serving as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for four years. She has always had a passion for saving the lives of animals and is committed to improving their well-being.
Nancy has a deep empathy for the neediest animals and is determined to make the world a better place for them and their caretakers. She believes that educating the community and providing access to affordable spay/neuter options will be a transformative force in the region. Nancy sees the opening of the A HOPE clinic as the start of many impactful programs that will grow from this initiative. As Volunteer Coordinator, she is thrilled to inspire volunteers to create meaningful change in the lives of animals.
Outside of her work with A HOPE, Nancy is a proud mom to two rescue dogs and six rescue cats, one of which is an A HOPE foster fail. She enjoys the beach, tennis, and cherishing moments with her grandkids, friends, and loved ones. Nancy finds joy in spreading smiles and positivity.
Nancy is excited to serve on the Board of Directors because she wholeheartedly believes in A HOPE’s mission. She sees the clinic, alongside the passion of our volunteers, as just the beginning of the lasting impact we can have on the community.
